Dvorak’s American Suite is a mix of American music with Slavic tradition and themes native to the Far East. It reflects the growing diversity in turn-of-the-century America. Concerto for Orchestra is one of Bartok’s best known works, combining elements of Western art music and Eastern European folk music.
