DESCRIPTION
Create childhood memories with a live performance of Peter and the Wolf and go on a musical adventure with Peter and his companions: a bird with flute-song, an oboe-waddling duck, a clarinet-crafty cat, and their run in with a shadowy wolf, hinted at by ominous horns! Prokofiev’s enchanting classic is a delight for young, budding music lovers ages 3-9 and their families.
Joining the ranks of famous narrators like Alice Cooper, Bill Clinton, Boris Karloff, David Bowie and David Attenborough, special guest and local celebrity Carol Sizer will guide listeners through Prokofiev’s timeless childhood adventure.
Concert goers will receive complimentary tokens to enjoy the Silver Beach Carousel and an Instrument Petting Zoo will be available for interactive play and exploration, courtesy of the Citadel Dance & Music Center! A nearby splash pad, beach, downtown shops and restaurants guarantee a fabulous outing!
