A Most Elegant Opportunity: Diamond Candidate Registration

Are you destined to be the Diamond of the Season?

Eight individuals of poise and promise are invited to compete for the highest honor in the ton: to be named the Diamond at the Southwest Michigan Symphony Orchestra’s Diamond Regency Ball.

Do not tarry! Only the first eight shall be selected to enjoy a day of elegance and refinement, including:

• An exclusive group dance lesson, where you and your fellow Diamond candidates will prepare to take the floor with confidence and grace.

• A private mini portrait session in full Regency-inspired attire (white garments are requested for all candidates), to commemorate your debut in timeless fashion.

• Early entry to the Ball, where you’ll enjoy a silhouette portrait sitting and a quiet moment before the grand festivities begin.

• A place of honor during the presentation to the Queen, where each candidate will offer thier most respectful bow or curtsy.

When the Queen declares the Diamond of the Season, the chosen individual shall open the floor with the Symphony’s most honorable guest, Sir Matthew Aubin, esteemed conductor and celebrated figure of the evening.

Each candidate may bring one guest at no additional charge—who is welcome to join the portrait session if desired. All Diamond candidates will receive a specially curated swag package to mark the occasion.

Diamond candidates are responsible for their own transportation and attire.
